FSGR,
through our Volunteer Management School (VMS), we offer more than just
volunteering—we offer a chance to live, learn, and contribute within a rural
community. Based in Banadiya village near Udaipur city, our program brings
volunteers closer to real India, where every effort creates visible impact.
As a volunteer, you become part of meaningful initiatives in women and child development. You may engage with children at our Balwadi (child care center), support creative learning activities, and help build a safe, joyful environment for early education.
Being our major project under WCD (woman & child development),You can also contribute to our menstrual health awareness programs, working alongside local women and adolescent girls to promote hygiene, dignity, and sustainable practices. Volunteers often assist in awareness sessions and support the distribution of reusable sanitary pads, helping create both social and environmental impact.
We distribute reusable pads among women and adolescent girls in the village of Banadiya. These pads are made of cotton, biodegradable, and designed for long-term use, making them both eco-friendly and cost-effective. Along with distribution, we also create awareness about proper usage, hygiene practices, and safe washing methods to ensure better menstrual health and dignity for the beneficiaries.
In addition to above, You will also learn how to make these sustainable and effective pads yourself, enabling you to share this skill and support menstrual health awareness within the community.
Through VMS, we ensure a structured yet flexible experience, where volunteers can work according to their interests while gaining real grassroots exposure. Alongside your work, you’ll have the opportunity to experience rural culture, local traditions, and community life in a meaningful way.
We provide a friendly and supportive environment, where your ideas are valued and your contributions truly matter. This is not just volunteering—it’s a journey of learning, connection, and impact.
